Nick is an industry veteran who started work on the London Metal Exchange in the 1970’s, and who has over 40 years’ experience of working with and managing companies in base and strategic metals and minerals including running his own successful trading company, Allmetex Ltd, for almost 20 years.
Kirk was, until early 2022, CEO of London AIM-quoted GreenRoc Mining. Previous roles include CEO of TSX-quoted Esrey Resources and founder-CEO of Australian private natural resources company Stibium Mining. Kirk has also held production management roles at Goldfields (South Africa), Rio Tinto (Cornwall) and Mount Isa (Australia).
Kirk has acted as a consultant to Deloitte for many years on natural resources projects throughout the world. He has specific and relevant experience in mineral processing and of delivering hydrometallurgical projects. Kirk holds a BSc in Mining Engineering from Camborne School of Mines and an MBA from Cranfield School of Management.
Robert was, until his recent retirement, Head of Corporate and a main board director at UK law firm Blake Morgan LLP. Rob has over 30 years experience of corporate law, advising companies such as BP Chemicals, Vale Europe, Barchester Homes and PHS Group, and was named in the 2021 Legal 500 Hall of Fame. He is also currently a director of care group Shaw Healthcare, one of the UK’s largest employee-owned companies.
Marco represents the interests of Seri Group, one of Bluecap’s largest shareholders, on the board, and is part of the Seri founding family. Marco provides the link for Bluecap into the Seri Group structure, being the conduit with Seri’s R&D facilities, ensuring that Bluecap benefits from Seri’s considerable commercial and technical experience.
Barrie is a Chartered Engineer with over 22 years of mineral processing experience ranging from designing and managing laboratory / pilot plant test work programmes to hands on experience in operating milling and flotation plants, and acid leach systems. In addition, he has undertaken numerous process feasibility design studies where he has reviewed/managed metallurgical test work programmes to acquire necessary data for design and equipment selection. He has participated in projects throughout the CIS, Turkey, Africa and Europe involving base metals, precious metals and industrial minerals and has completed Competent Person’s Reports under NI 43-101 and JORC (2012).
Kath is a qualified chartered accountant with over 20 years of industry and commercial experience, and with a proven track record of supporting strategic business plans and developing effective finance teams. With strong financial management and control capabilities, set alongside her excellent communication skills, Kath is an integral part of the senior management team.
Anıl is an experienced exploration geologist, having been employed for some years in that role by the General Directorate of Mineral Research and Exploration (MTA) in Turkey. Following his time at MTA, Anıl managed resource evaluation and mine surveying projects for a major Turkish consultancy from 2019 to 2022, before joining Bluecap in June 2022. Anıl holds an MSC in Geology from Ankara University, and has published a number of academic papers in this field. In addition to his Bluecap work, Anıl is also working to complete his PhD thesis.
Kate has been an integral part of Bluecap Resources since its inception in 2020, having previously worked for more than 12 years at Allmetex, the former trading company of Bluecap’s CEO, managing logistics and procurement. Prior to this, Kate was International Sales Manager for Technicolor Manufacturing. Kate is now focused on managing the organisational needs within Bluecap’s UK Headquarters, overseeing daily operations and with responsibility for facilitating communications and relationships between our staff, our sites throughout Europe, service providers and other external parties. Kate holds a BSc in Business Management from Manchester University.
